Dose of Bliss

Who is behind Dose of Bliss and What is
Dose of Bliss
My name is Desiree' White.
Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist: 19417
I was born and raised in Orange County. This is home and I'm glad to assist my community! Having a nurturing personality, I knew I would be assisting people as a living and I'm excited to be doing what I love.
Since becoming a massage therapist my clients have come in for either shoulder, neck or lower back pain. Welcome to corporate America.
I specialize in finding the true culprits of body aches and lessening the effects of chronic pain. In Western culture, we have become accustomed to taking prescription medication as the first line of defense when perhaps a focus on strength and movement would offer relief.
Everybody deserves to live a life without limitations.
My massage style is tailored to the needs of each person who walks in. Each session would likely be different than the prior. We can combine different techniques (deep tissue, relaxation, sports, and lymphatic) to best benefit you on any partciular day.
All massages will include a thorough consultation, a customized massage tailored to your needs, and post-massage recommendations.

These recommendations may include helpful stretching and strengthening exercises for specific areas of your body. If you need further assistance, I can refer you to other wellness professionals in the area for additional suggestions.

My Qualifications
Became an LMBT, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
During my studies, I completed a 500-hour course in eastern and western massage therapy. The program aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the human body, including its different systems and pathologies, and how to refer people for treatment. While attending school, I also worked alongside a chiropractor and another massage therapist, which enhanced my learning experience.
After graduating, I gained valuable experience working at two different massage franchises, where I was able to grow as a therapist. As the lead massage therapist, I traveled to various locations to assist the team and help them develop their skills. These experiences have contributed significantly to my success as a massage therapist today.
Orthopedic Cupping with Dr. Joi
Cupping therapy, also known as myofascial decompression, is an alternative medicine technique where a therapist places cups on the body to create suction. The aim is to improve health and wellness. Orthopedic cupping is intended to lift, pull, stretch, and decompress tight, restricted tissues. This technique is beneficial for people experiencing musculoskeletal pain, nerve issues such as carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome, and can help improve range of motion. By stretching with cups on the body, the tissues can be thoroughly replenished.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage with Claire Marie Miller
This training was the best training I could have done for myself. The structural changes that a woman's body goes through during pregnancy can be the best and wildest ride of their life. To align the offset of these structural changes. It is ideal to adjust the massage to the stages of pregnancy. These include the first, second, and third trimesters, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period!
This training even allows me to teach you and your spouse how to massage your newborn.
Let me be a part of this wonderful walk through life for you and your growing family.
